Fly Tying Classes

Fly tying is taught during the winter months. For beginners, there is no requirement to go out and buy anything as the club has loan equipment to start off with. In general you will probably last the course on the loan gear and then go buy your own. Most basic materials (not all) will be supplied for beginners

Classes are held at Whitehaven Hall, located at the corner of Rangitoto Road and Dreadon Avenue, Papatoetoe. A nominal sum is charged to cover hall hire and basic materials

For 2011, classes are from 7:30 - 10:00pm on the 2nd and 4th Tursday of the month over May, June, July, August and September (Refer to Event Calendar)
