April Riffles Pattern - Yoshi's X Factor (Nymph)

Hook: # 10
Head: Gold bead
Tail whisks: Small bunch of natural brown hen hackle fibres
Body & thorax: Light brown or chocolate, dyed rabbit fur

Ribbing:

Very narrow red tinsel
Collar: Several turns of 'hot-orange' thread between thorax & gold bead

May Riffles Pattern - Soft Hackle Sawyer (Wet)

Hook

 # 12

 Thorax  Small copper bead
 Body  Fine, light brown, 'Ice' dubbing brush
Rib  Fine copper wire
Hackle  Partridge
Head  Brown (small)

June Riffles Pattern - Green Rabbit (Lure)

Hook:  # 6-10
 Tail:  Small bunch of red hackle fibres.
 Body:  Green chenille.
 Ribbing:  Oval silver rib.
 Wing:  Strib of rabbit pelt, tied-in with rib, 'Matuku' style.
 Hackle:  Natrural red brown or ginger (optional, several strands of 'Krystal Flash' or equal)
 Head:  Black, neatly tapered.

July Riffles Pattern -Robs Redhead Bloodworm (Nymph)

Hook:

# 12 caddis

 Tying thread:

 red
 Head:  small red glass bead
 Tail:  medium bunch of fine, red-dyed, marabou fibres
 Adbomen:  narrow red mylar or lurex
 Thorax:  fine,red-dyed, marabou or wool or synthethic fibre dubbing

August Riffles Pattern - Humpy (dry)

Hook: #10 (wide-gap if desired)
 Tail:  medium bunch, lightfawn, Elk or Deer hair
 Body:  optional turquoise, green, red, or yellow lurex or holographic tinsel
Under-body & wing-case:   4-5mm wide closed-cell foam strip (colour optional)
 Wing:  white synthetic wing-fibre, divided to ‘V’ shape
 Hackle natural brown, ginger, or red, hackle feather (wound both sides of wing)
 Head:  neat whip-finish only

September Riffles Pattern - Thin mint (Lure)

Hook:

 Head:  gold bead
 Tail:

 3 small bunches of marabou - black over brown over green - with several strands of narrow chartreuse mylar flash.

 Body:

 peacock herl

 Ribbing:

 narrow chartreuse mylar flash

 Hackle:  brown, ginger or natural red hackle feather 'Palmer' wrapped
